A limerick or two a day Keeps the nasty old blues away Why are they called blues Perhaps some other hue Like “Purples” would be better, I'd say © Jack Ellison 2015

Just wanted to say hi. HI!!! Carol does read your limericks just about every morning to me. I thought about the "Purples", but another thought intruded. It was about a Purple People Eater. It was the people and not the color of the creature. This explains a lot about why I haven't come across many people colored purple. Sounds like another story to me. Thanks for reading my short stories.

Purple is a wonderful color! And you can't be blue if you're purple. Sounds like you've solved the world's problems to me! PS. Hubby has a PoetrySuop Site now. Look for Michael Eastman. Every morning I read him your cool dude stuff before he goes to work... He works a lot of over time and probably won't get to make many comments... But he and Grandpa Troll are listening... and I'm a reading. LOL! Things just keep getting better and better! PS. Dragon said not to forget him. He listens, too.
