Promise Me
Before cold winter fills our hearts
And autumn leaves float to the ground
Promise me I'll be okay
Promise me you'll be around.
Before the sun sets on the earth
And everything is painted black
Promise me you'll always care
Promise me you love me back.
Before God calls our souls to part
And natures life comes to an end
Promise me you'll still be here
Promise me you'll be my friend.
