Prayers of Confession
As they rise they must fall
It is, what is trust in us all;
As Writ pages turn in blur
True words race in space
A blind book of themes
Reminds us like lightning
To breathe---------
Inside silent souls, alone
Rhythmic radiant beats
Rhapsodic and robust
Finding the echoes of time
As they rush with wings
Kissing priestly rings
Of prayer box whispers
Across the chapel full;
High above the palls
Risen to guide the tides
Pounding our insides
As we bend to a knee
To confess and to cry
To try and not sigh
Emotions roar high
Behind angels that fly
Aloft a stained glass sky
While gliding behind
Prayers sent up blind
Eyes down with the stars
I pass through the love
Risen from chiffon doves
A symphony of bells
The water clicks serene
As I look up at the gleam
The thin cashmere cloak
Guiding me with hope
Into pages of crystalline
Hoping to shine divine
In my confession to find
What makes me better--
To pick myself up
As I make myself fall
'Tis the promise that lifts up
The premise of us all
