Possibillities

Look at her, always looking up, always looking for something more. Desperate, aching for a world full of possibilities. But here she stands, overwrought by those same possibilities, endless “What if’s”. She does not move, She cannot move. The contingency of it all frightens her. She doesn’t leap, she has no faith for it. So with her hopes in the sky, and her feet on the ground, she gazes upon the sky one last time. Promising that it be the last time she yearns for the world she doesn’t know. The endless wonders she will never experience. She is extant, nothing more.
