Poetry Soup High School

There are times here on Soup it feels just like that.. And that is not a bad thing as I will soon chat.. We have class clowns that keep the smiles wide.. Way back in the class is Dave with his green hair he wants to hide.. In my homeroom sits a sultry Destroyer with rebel ties.. Another chair holds a Dreamweaver with ocean eyes.. The front row holds the sweet Nikko and lovely Wilma at the top of their class.. Then there is the flirty Sweetheart writing love notes that she will soon pass.. And don't forget our friend Chris whose small assignment is now as long as War and Peace.. Ahh now if you're searching for me I'm in the nurse's office , seems the jealous boyfriends wouldn't let me be... Written by "Me" for Chris's Contest...

Well I guess you like my Idea of School.. I played football and hung out with everyone from the geeks to the freaks to the jocks... I had more fun then learning but I charmed my way through.. and amazing enough my old english teacher saw my book and was so happy I used my wit in a good way.. and back in school... if you where the most popular guy trying to charm me.. ha ha..your right..my team would send you to the nurse's office... and lets name that nurse lady.. CATIE... since she seems like the type of person that can heal a wound... well anyways... this was fun... hey ! and lets not forget.. JANITOR, Arlid... ha ..I bet he would clean up our acts in no time....

Well said Michael,, I can say, I love this. but, you forgot to mention...Our teachers... DEBBIE & ANDREA~ Come on..you have to give them a line in your poem... ha ha... and thank you. I was always brave, I was THE most popular girls in the jr high... and I always had the biggest heart, acknowledge the kids others wouldn't. I even had all the snobs , bullies, dark kids, and special kids and jocks,, wanting to sit with me.. true story. I think they thought i was a bad a$$ or super xool

Hehehe. You got it so right, the Soup does feel like high school sometimes and yay, I sure feel honored to be sitting beside Missy :) --haha I hope the teacher doesn't call on us too much ;) -- this is definitely a fun read and it sounds like you had fun writing this, Michael :)-- it was really great how you included Soupers here :) and yup, I think Tracie's eyes are beautiful! and it sure tickled me that you included me here, thank you hugs to you :D and oh no :(! you poor white knight you, being sent to the nurse's office, o_O! soupmail :)
