Poetry, Music, and Written Beauty
Poetry in its many forms
shines through the night
lights up the mid-day shadows
blackens the midnights moon.
it makes oceans calm and cry
fires smoke and smoulder
poetry grows before the sun
and sinks into the ground.
The music sings hymns
to the dark of the night
cry's a tune of peace and tragety
sinks to the bottom of the ocean
and floats to the deep blue sky
from night to night, and day to day
music sings its tunes.
art in its many colors
is the mid-day sun
and the midnight sky
flows through the ocean
and falls through the tide.
Art sings to the night
writes to the morning
paints to the day
and draws to the dark.
