Poetic Tears

Paper rain showers over me... With fallen letters drifting free... Two words left on a scroll... Page less thoughts left to hold... Ticks on a clock still measure time... From day to night it's a world of rhyme... Poetic tears that moisten my pen... Dipped in the inkwell of now and then...

I love that soft nostalgic fade away into now and then, Michael. Lovely. As for my latest sonnet. I had to use those words Dalila gave us, so it was from HER mind that I got those ideas, indirectly you could say!!!

I really enjoyed this read Michael, and really true, sometimes if we think too hard the blank page will show up, but when we think nothing but tears, it will start to heat up the engine in your pen :) Lovely poem - Hug, Yanny
