Kind poets die Bitter ones come back to life Drunken ones have no life Sober ones write novels not poems Married ones write of great loves Single ones, of love lost Funny ones toss away their poems ...... and join the circus My cat wrote a poem for a contest ........and Won I am a very depressed poet ........ and lost As the eagle soars high in the clouds ……....a great hunter of poetic verse This poet crawls towards his desk Another day Another terrible poem

I never participate in contests or hardly..But I wish I was that cat who can write the best poetry : ). I can see me in many mirrors reflecting your verse... Maybe not the drunken one...Though i can get silly with one glass of wine if I eat nothing befire ' : ).I got the message of this piem..Clever indeed.

Thanks Jan, it was more about life, I just had to add that line cause I thought it was funny! Not so much about the different kind of poets, but that we are all of these at different times, ok maybe not all drunk, that was for me! LOL
