Poet Or Storyteller

I chose to identify as a poet But these images are mere stories Where my heart asks to tell about All of the greats before me Had a hard time with this The mellow breeze calms me I'm sitting alone in this park Perfecting pieces of life into art These words are fond of me So I must talk about them So might I ask I'm I A poet or a storyteller You decide I'll abide Excuse me I must tend to The woman and her child Telling their stories of crossfire
