Yes, I'm new to poetry Can't you tell it by my face My eyes are bright, my skin is soft Ok, I'm fifty eight But, I haven't been writing All those years I've been alive Ok, there was that one rhyme I penned when I was five But that really shouldn't matter It wasn't meant, for public eyes Ok, I admit it, I was awarded, Second Prize

Good for you Jerry. I have always been ashamed to mention that my first poem started, "There was a young lady from Wheeling..." lol. Still we all have to start somewhere, and you are off to a great start. Yhanks for the smile. :)
