Pieces of Fall

Bark mulch and oak leaves Hear the call scattered down and brown away Dirt road's old farm house in a memory shuttered and shut down people who lived there It's not there are lost in the rain and they hunting and searching were not looking what they can't regain Standing in puddles It's not there oak leaf blackened now and they huddled and clinging just keep looking to one remembered vow Spring green and dancing It's not fair Windsong wild days a pair returning tomorrow of lost lovers staying til Summer haze
