Photographs

At last I found your album, full of photographs- you at all ages glossy pictures on black pages! All the poses- some heartbreaking to look at. You were sweet, in pigtails holding an orange cat. (Oh) here you are upon a horse and others on your wedding day, and here I am- within your arms a new babe born. There you are dad! Such a love- together, now, beneath soil, names engraved. ____________________ September 28, 2016 Poetry/Verse/Photographs Copyright Protected, ID 16-834-193-0 All Rights Reserved. Oh Broken Wings- I love pictures. I make scrapbooks and have been for years. I am grateful to be able to have them to pass down to Ella when we get old for her to remember all the wonderful times we had as a family...loved this...congratulations on your placement :)-luloo

Thanks for "dropping this one" in the contest. Made me kinda sad there are so few photographs of my parents.

Wonderful writing again, Constance. I had no idea what to do for this contest. I like how you did it.

Wings, this is beautiful and poignant. It made me miss my dad, but also to be thankful for the photos and mementos of him that keep the memories alive. Thank you for this... hugs, John
