Phoenix Shall Rise

Burn burn day by day, Sleepless nights too swayed away.. Mocked faces and faked smiles, Broken heart, mind fragile.. Pretentious walls of being alive, Flags of compromise waving high But somewhere to the soul's soul This secret is well known, That when the time comes Phoenix shall rise... From his own ashes to survive.. Flapping the wings of fire, Raising his head high, Taking a swing with fearless swirl Looking at the timid small world Phoenix shall rise again.. Phoenix shall survive, Till he meets his vicious fate To ask the questions, To erase the ominous slate, To burn the skies And heavens and earth To remind them the ashes Of unfortunate bygone.. Phoenix shall rise again.. Phoenix shall survive...
