Perseverance will keep you from falling Falling prey to the darkness of Defeat, Defeat is a foe that laughs at Success Success is right there for you to meet Meet it with all that you have in you You are the one who can always choose Choose to be the best and always be true True because you were not meant to lose Lose not the goal set for you to be won Won indeed to dry that crying eye Eye on the winning for you are the one One who gets going, gets running, aims high! I love this style. And the message is well needed in today's world. Perseverance means not giving up whenever things don't go the way we like - the goal is one but if one road closes, we can find another one to lead us to our destination. Very well written Cynthia!
