Terror, Dark night skies lighten up with beautiful colors, Children re-enact the failed attempt Of Mr, Guy Fawkes Trying to blow up the House of Lords, With his gunpowder, Still remembering him today, And his plot to kill! We’re reminded of it with every crash, And the life-size effigy of this criminal, Sat perched on the street, Or pushed around in the pram, Until we throw him on the bonfire, Penny for him! Please, Excitement the fires are lit, Catherine wheels and sparklers, Hot roasted chestnut!
