I don't know how I missed this one..Sad plight of wildlife now and don't know how much longer..Great write to remind us..Keep the creative pen flowing..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..I am just doing some when memories are triggered...I don't know what stlye of writing that it really is but I have seen some by famous writers done like that where they don't rhyme and don't exactly have that poetic quality..Sara

I am also, so devastated at the oil leak, situation. The Pelicans, their babies, their eggs, their home covered in oil, it is heartbreaking, and all the other wonderful creatures dying... it is just horrible and your poem brings that sorrow so clearly, a sad and true write. This rates a 7 for me... Love Constnce
