Peanut
A silvery blue, pale blond long hair
Yorkie with a short waggy tail, floppy abnormal ears
Brown eyes that will melt your heart
With his own flair
~
He was supposed to be a petite five pounds
But by the age of five
His a healthy sixteen pounds
I'm told it’s a genetic throwback
Mother Nature is full of small surprises
~
He's known to have a mind of his own
Stubborn true to his name
Try to put a flame under him to get him to walk,
He sits on the road or nip at my toes…
I wish he could talk
It’s a shame instead of creating havoc
I have to carry him
~
He doesn't like being left alone
So my husband and I take turns staying at home
~
He loves a good belly rub,
Delightful back massage,
Or the back of his ears scratched
~
Intelligent, gentle, loving companion
He is part of the family who has won
Our hearts with tons
Of wet kisses
No one can love us as much as he
