Peace In the Night
The night is quiet not a sound.
The wind is blowing just a touch.
The lights in the city glow so bright.
The night is so peaceful As the clock ticks.
You can hear the water running in the river.
Bird flies by o, so high.
But there is peace in the night.
The guns have stopped no killing tonight.
No car horns blasting .
No children playing in the park
The night is so peaceful that you think
Why can't it be like this every night.
Just peace in the night.
