Passion For Life

Morning breaks the day I wake Wipe the small crumbs from my eyes At first mornings glance Things are but a bit blurry I render the thoughts of the day Pausing only for a moment Prioritize First order Coffee Than a smoke Out stretched arms With refreshed legs Stumble to the kitchen Java My nectar It gives life, life I'm ready Out the door I go Eagerly awaiting today's events New experiences Another place A new face to memorize Something significant Is this the day But then isn't every day Experience my passion Life Live well today Tomorrow may not come Written by Christopher Trotter Typed by his daughter Jessica Trotter Dedicated To William Star

Christopher, your zest for life shines in this inspiring work! (And I'm glad I'm not the only one who "wipes away small crumbs" from their eyes in the morning.) Love, Carolyn
