Paean

Disguised as a horse, Walked the rim of the track Stepping onto the hippodrome There was no turning back Zeus, piqued by this folly Turned proud steed into donkey At the wire annoyed spectators Might think him an ass?

Very witty and cerebral poem, Mikki. It feels good to have another soul one's intellect. Raise the consciousness bar, so to speak. You have such a beautiful mind, by logical extension, so must your soul be also. Touche poem. Keep the love and knowledge flowing. Love and more love to you and yours.

"Apollo Atepomarus" ("the great horseman" or "possessing a great horse")=> Celtic epithets. I don't believe Zeus, especially not Apollo, would appreciate this write.:( Thanks for your kind comment, Freddie!!!

Ah, you and Ellen...my good conscience.:) She's sending homemade cards, inserting clips of poetical nuances... "Calm down and be Still, Brother Mind." :))I will listen to my dearest friends. Explain this poem...An Apollo making fun of one of his muses...Crap, I guess it had a boomerang effect? Mikki needs for her joie de vie to return? It will always here.:) Grizzly...no make that, panda hugs to you, Love, Mikki
