Outside Our Window
Pretty green, blue, pink, red and white colors!
My gaze bounces from one to the other.
Looking through my window, senses confer
How sight-touch turns thoughts to my lover.
White and pink from each periwinkle;
Peaking blue sky; red tomatoes, green crinkle;
Growth from onions and new peppers may twinkle.
Much in window’s pane does besprinkle.
Looking out, the feeling of harmony
Reminds me of love’s perfect reverie:
A special day of laboring happily
While together we played plant botany.
