Our Protector

The eyes of Jesus look upon the world, each and every day He protects us as a shepherd and helps us on our way His love, it pours there from the clouds, into the oceans deep For we are His true flock and under loving eyes, He keeps He embraces us with love from Heavens gracious solemn breeze So long as we remember, to keep Him and to please Rather, do our best to be like Him and cherish others, true He’ll love us then, eternally. That’s what He means to do.

These are such comforting words this windy, last day of August! We do need to be more like him each day...and sometimes we need to be reminded to try harder. Thank you for this poem. We had 3 new wildfires spring up in No. California during a hot windy day....one nearest to us was put out quickly.....I pray for those who are closer to the other fires, a lot of forest land surrounds this north state area. Wishing a good day where you are! Carrie
