Our Last Words

“I love you” were your last words. Mine were, “I know”. Had I known this was it for awhile, I would have repeated those words. If this is it, I will regret, not being nicer after 12. I should have fallen, all over, like I did before. Your last words were “I love you”, glad we made it back. I’m glad I got my closure, and that I have your heart. I’m glad you always missed me. I’m glad I could forgive. Your last words were the lock, that sealed in what we are. You’re my favorite, I’m your best friend, I’m the one you’ll always love. You’re the one, that was the one. Your last words were “I love you”, my last words were “I know”. And I’m at peace, with you and me, my heart is still, no need for tears, I’m sure we’ll meet again.
