Our Bear

Our Bear.

Our Bear, he’s big just like a horse
He’s a really handsome dog
Always hungry, he loves to eat
Then he sleeps just like a log
He don’t like cats or little dogs
A Rottweiler, he be
But he just wants to smooch with folk
No killer dog is he.

Wherever there is food about
That’s where our bear, will be
Most folk adore this great big lump
A people dog, is he
But when that dog, he passes wind
Folk can’t believe their ears
He sounds just like a ruddy trumpet
His smell brings folk to tears.

He seems to know we don’t like it
So when he lets one go
He knows that he must go outside
Even though we love him so
And so he walks up to the door
With guilt wrote on his dial
Although he smells just like a skunk
He really makes us smile.
