Opposition

As I humbly sit here with you today, I realize the choices I have made, Do they do me in or Have I been forgiven. I never meant to hurt you so, I never meant for hurt to grow. I lived a life out of love, It turned its back on me, And made me cry to the angels above. I believed in You oh so real, I cry to You now to keep me here. This sorrow filled heart has grown somewhat dim. And my heart now yearns for Him. I was given a gift of life, The most beautiful indeed, But these thoughts are buckling my brain, Such foolishness, Never meant to hurt like this. Please heal me now, Please keep me amidst, This beautiful plane of Consciousness. I want my childhood thought filled bliss. I am surrounded in a storm of love, Please heal me now, I’d only be a fool to miss this. Loving ever longing for one’s foolish kiss. Wake me up, From whatever I have fallen victim to. It’s your heart I want to please, So I live it out through mine. Let the thoughts fade and your love shine. ~Sealion
