Onions of Worship

We understood to what extent our fights stemmed only from differences, when underneath us lay a deeper sameness. We understood to what extent we avoided being judged as unhappy by dressing up in cheery personalities, smiling and shining, shimmering, dancing in the wind, before we got caught in a hurricane of hurt. Now we shed these tired and heavy layers whose sole purpose is to derive conflict and give 'proof', that everyone is out to get us, that we have no need or desire or willingness to see through the fog of separate identities to the reality of Oneness we have always been.

This is another great write. Yes, Yoni. A book is a must. It will happen. Let's keep praying, that words like these will help mankind move closer to the oneness and find the peace that we all seek. It can happen, one heart at a time. Love, Dane

When "we shed these tired and heavy layers" of our exterior onion skin, we're really all very much alike. We can paint ourselves happy and dance "in the wind," but we can't escape who we are. This is another very profound and intelligent write from one of the Soup's best writers. Brilliant observation, conveyed in a way everyone can appreciate! Love, Carolyn
