Onion Breath

Got me a burger with raw onion piled high A super-sized soda and a sack of french fries Stomach starts to chirp So let out a burp An odor starts to linger like I was bout to die

I had an aunt and uncle that burped after every meal -- they told me it was a sign of a good meal. Your limerick was outstanding because I could visualize and smell each line!! well done friend. 7

I have heard that as well David....rumor had it was an old Japanese custom to burp as a sign of gratitude to the cook
