On Survival

You are a Star, a perfect golden thread
woven into the tapestry of Hope
You will survive, you will conquer
the insecurities that have been engraved in your mind
Your spirit will grow, will evolve
to welcome pain
with a disarming smile
and swallow it whole
Leaving it to drown in the beauty of your Being
Your fear will be avenged, your hate will dissapate
You will love with understanding
And you will live with an iron will
Survival is strength
you will find you have had
embedded in your heart
Since your soul was drifting
in the spaces between
Before the spark of your existence
You are a wonder,
a Fire whose origin is sturdy as Stone
And your blood will be thick
with Victory
over
your Self
