Old Dog

There once was a very old, old dog Who'd lay by the fire of cracklin' logs Dreaming mighty dreams Of years gone by schemes As his legs moved chasing wild mean hogs

Ha ha, this is awesome, this is such a terrific write my friend! Our dog is terrified of a crackling fire, I don't know why per se, but he is, he's a scarey dog, afraid of everything pretty much it seems like! But he gets used to things after awhile, but it takes some time! I really enjoyed reading this clever limerick, I hope that dog enjoys his dream as that is all he has left I'm sure as he's an old, old dog! Great Work!!
