Oh Tree

Grounded to the earth, your roots grow. Stretching miles under tuff soil and rocks. Down to the core you are planted. Limbs longer then the seas that stretch across this land. I love your determination to grow, Up to the sky where the clouds can reach your fingertips. The mist surrounding your thin aching branches, Your roots do not keep you from success but rather push you to reach farther. They ground you to the earth and your hopes and dreams Dance upon the tops of your leaves, making them laugh, For you are complete And as you grow taller and your trunk widens, Don't forget me. For I remember when you were only a small little seed.
