Oh Mockingbird
Oh Mockingbird, where are you now?
I need your varied song.
Red Robin keeps repeating---how!
His liquid notes too long!
He's more like a machine, oh yes!
The same thing o'er and o'er!
While your top tunes are happiness
None ever heard before!
O Mighty, fleet inventor---you!
O Man of birds, I say,
Come here with your sweet genius true,
Come now, and make my day!
