October - For Contest

Outside, the leaves are falling, Carpeting my walk to school with new tactilities. Treading the glorious kaleidoscope Of crunching detritus, my Bulging eyes glisten as a hidden coin, Exposed by my foraging feet, Reveals its hiding place. Birthdate 10/06/55 Composition 08/09/15

It was my ( and my Mum's ) birthday; I was 6 and I'd been shoved outdoors to play; the coin I found paid the rent on our home for a week!
