O Delusion
O Delusion
( Inspiration- W .Shakespeare.)
Rizwana Bhurani.
Thou art a smoky arena of caricature,
Fallacy is all your demeanour
Thy gnaw me in delirium
Stirring thoughts breathing equilibrium
I panic at the dusky portrait thy draweth,
In search of light if availeth
The ocean too is unstable,
With waves dancing in its stable.
“ O Light , where doth thy reside?
The ocean is agitated at my sight,
Variable images come in dark apparition,
This delusion is a mysterious operation”.
“Go back ”Light chide me
Confusion stills me,
“Introspect with stillness in companion,
What thy seek is soul abandoned.”
I wonder ,now who is this I know not
“Oh” Light mocked, “You know not,
Your reflection the MAKER created
Unseen alter ego thy averted,
Soul self-splendour ,love,hope
Crucifying it you eloped,
Catch the beam of light
To resolve darkness of plight”.
A folly to underestimate
Self ignorance I should resticate,
The mighty grants mightily
For us to explore gratefully,
My apology to God,who bestowed
Mankind with blessings disguised,
I’ll listen to heart influential
Present treasured talent torrential.
