Nurses

Nurses are special people with hearts full of gold We care for all of your loved ones whether young or old We never ask you for anything special for our dedication All we want is your respect not your condemnation Sure we get paid to do our many tasks at hand With a smile we do it all because we care and understand We understand how it feels to be in such pain To feel there is no sunshine peeping through the rain We try to make your lives as simple as can be Until you're back upon your feet, able to climb that tree I deserve your respect and you will get mine too For I left my family home to come here and take care of you I know you prefer not be here in this treasure less dome Lets just make the best of it until you can go home.

Reading this reminded me of how Florence Nightengale got started during the Crimean War. Countless numbers of fine professionals followed her.
