Numbered Days

Fog thick as thieves reduces sight Misty drops drip from eaves All's quiet in nature's realm How my heart slowly bleeds Time seems to be swiftly ending Days are numbered 'pon wall See the calendar's pages move_ Xes seem to voice sqall

I notice that the weeks pass like days; that college kids look like high school kids; and that the number of features to be mastered in technology simply boggles my mind into non-participation. Further to time, however, Woodie Allen said that eternity was a very long time--especially towards the end. I enjoyed this clever poem of yours.

"Teach us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom!" Sara, this is a lovely write in a very sad way. Every day we live is written in His book before one ever came to be. Thinking of you!!! HUGS

This is a very powerful write my friend, and knowing what I know about you it shows a bit of desperation, a sadness within it! You are quite depressed when you wrote this poem Sara, and I can understand it, life doesn't always bring you joy and happiness, it brings other emotions too, including negative ones! But I'm glad to see you expressing yourself and letting out some of that raw emotion that you have been feeling! Still thinking about you, and praying for you! Great Work!!

Just dropping by to say hello ! This is deeply moving, I'm lost in thought as I read these lines. But at the same time I love the image of -misty drops dripping from eaves... Beautiful nature! That would give me comfort that I'm near to God and He loves me. and I love you Sara, gautami

an appealing and cogent poem. How Time doth flee. I can't believe I'm in the second decade of the 21st century. Love your poem, Sara.

A deeply emotional poem, and very thought provoking. When we are younger we don't give much thought to time passing. Although, we probably should be more aware of it. I enjoyed reading this one tonight. Very nicely done, Sara! I hope you are well.

When i read this i thought of Nebuchanezzer and the hand that wrote about his an his countrys downfall Sara; so do not be sad, we are not like him, but we are blessed by him who blessed Abraham, and His blessing endures forever.' Take care Joe..)
