Numb Eyes

I had no choice but to leave you, My heart couldn't handle the pain, You constantly looked for reasons, To talk to me again...., Over and over I fell for it, I so wanted to believe, That you actually loved me, But you became so abusive and mean, Your feelings ran like a faucet, Hot than cold, than hot again, Now, I can't even look at you, Let alone call you my friend, I'm seeing a stranger in front of my eyes, Each and every day, The pain crushes my soul, As I make myself let go, You lost my heart in the end, Even if you try to attempt to care, I can't go another round, I won't be able to deal with the hurt, You've already kicked my heart to the ground, I was so in love with you, But you stabbed my heart one too many times, Theres nothing left but numbness, I won't bother to look into your eyes.
