Now Comes the Time

You soothe my rage with the slightest touch Though most look right past you, you mean so much But now comes the time when I must let you go It’s time for me to grow and stand on my own two feet Though I love you, maybe someday our hearts will meet And we’ll love again, but until that day, I’ll see you then Reminiscing thoughts keep coming back to me We started with such passion No one, nothing could ration I swear; this isn't what I wanted But you no longer need me I kissed her gently on the forehead And walked slowly out of her life
