Nominalism

When diamonds turn to ash Do we Even recognize this last epiphany Penultimate of metaphors We break these lifeless doors of definition Fill the space Created in the wake of self-destruction And, induced to be, we happily accept a fate And fill ourselves with names of our own make We claim to span the void Create it in the origin and end of time Which passes by Heedless of all our Crying And our deconstruction As we claim To have unnamed Ourselves
