My eyes have seen the unimaginable So horrible that they've kept me up for weeks The whispers and screams of a loved one The child's tears stream down, resulting a weep Running to grab an outstretched arm Only to fail and fall to your death Screaming for one who will not come And dying as you breathe your last breath Knowing that you will never be loved And you wear your heart on your sleeve And only to be take advantage of While you die inside as you watch them leave None has felt a pain like this And no one will ever know How painful this life lesson is To not let emotions show
