No Joke

It's all a joke, but ha ha you got me, Half of its true, but the other half can't be, You grip my heart tightly And won't let go, Vanity steps in the way and you deny what you know, It steals the love you feel And distorts your mind, But love will defeat it, give it time, So when you joke, your heart relays, Half of a truth you would like to say, Don't worry...your secrets safe with me, Because you know in your heart I already see.
