Nights of Summer

Nights of summer warm as bread, you feed me,
Can I invite you into space and time?
Magic arises the gray doves can see
that my heart awakens to love in thine.

Muscles glisten with lean and strong brown hands
Touch my face with gentle kisses so free
and find my heart awaken to your plans,
my lips prisoner to your own sweet sea.

But, alas you don't really know me much,
as I gauge how deep are the aqua waves?
I am a foreigner to your warm touch
To your grace I will always be a slave.

As I proceed to invite love so fine,
in your eyes I see only the divine.
