Night

Spreading through the air The silver tress of hair Over the heads of trees The grass is soft and light The stars smiling bright With the nightlight's breeze Along the clay-covered path The smell of maiden earth Where the squirrels cry So dark, so quiet! And the star peep and hide As they sparkles above And sings with the wide And I walk and say the prayers high
