Nice But Tough
Nice but tough,
no need to be rough
when it comes to reason...
no shackles or prison.
I spill out words to express anger,
I don't have the intention of a foul...
no bone to chew or flesh to maul
as a pitbull would do for pleasure.
I am looking for trust,
and won't grieve over a loss...
when loyalty is broken,
no word can move a tired oxen.
Be mad and expose my belligerence,
I don't fight back but feel the offense...
good friends honor their friendship,
never leave someone on a stranded ship.
