New Year's Eve
Now we stand here,
See the year end;
Rush of old cheer,
Swirl round the bend.
Turn the last page,
Watch old year fly;
Glimpse a new stage,
Enter and ply.
See city lights
Sparkle and shine;
Live new found sights
Now yours and mine.
Usher new blooms,
Fireworks sparkle;
Let joy fill room
With grand rumble.
Watch suspense hurl
The need to fling;
To find new swirls
In brand new spring.
How time zooms by
So fast and swift;
Yet here we sigh
To greet new drift.
The moments breeze
To the countdown;
In a quick whiz,
Smiles replace frowns.
Here's to good cheer,
May love and light
Anchor peace near,
Live happy flight.
May new year bring
Joy and goodwill;
Arise to sing,
Live precious feel.
May all things good
Come with grand thoughts;
Love sculpts fond moods,
Act flavours lot.
New Year's Eve fest
To celebrate:
Mix fun and zest
To usher fate.
