Nature Speaks

First days of spring I walk my yard With my wagging tail To see if planted saplings Have hoist their tiny sails. Soft breeze whispering, " Tiny trees, Hurry with your growing Big brother will be coming soon The winds of time be blowing" The virgin sails, have caught the tales Look to the helpful sun, "Please help us grow before they blow, we've only just begun Soon let it rain, we need to gain Some strength to tag along, The winds of change are blowing soon our growing season gone." The helpful sun beams brightly back His love and strength in waves. The strength he sends To his new friends Will last 'til shorter days. an original poem by the" poemdog" Daniel Turner Published in 2016 "Where The Mind Dwells"

Thank you for your insight. My goal is two years. If they live that long, usually they'll be ok. I love trees. Thank you for your time and comment.
