Nature
I was naked and you fully clothed me,
And gave me warmth and comfort from your rain.
Showed me a blue sky that covers the sea,
And canyons that echoed through time's domain.
When Earth shows red sunset from setting sun,
I sit and dream of beauty I can't hold,
Of crops rippling in the breeze to run,
Giving chase to butterflies I behold.
Tears fall each time a majestic oak falls,
And its leaves scatter across your ground.
In the quiet of night when a wolf calls,
I give thanks for each quiet breath I've found.
When a single bird glides high above
I give thanks to this nature that I love
