Today we had super sized thunder storms and lots of lightening too .. torrents of rain .. then calm..it was kinda scary.. no wind ..so a nice weekend is predicted for us here... those poor folks in Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, even Georgia, Louisiana too.. all it so very hard ..mayors declaring shutdowns of nuclear plants to avoid complications.. what is happening? guess Bible truths are being viewed by believers..luv..

Don't ya just luv the truth of the matter of fishing Bob? my Limerick is so true as we used to take four little boys on our boat often in Spring and Summer and one day the oldest forgot to drop anchor and we drifted and drifted till we realized we were.. your Limerick is so cute and funny too..know how frustrating to see others catching fish and own pole not moving nary a nibble..great title ..good luck in the contest luv..

This can't be YOUR poem, Robt! I AM THE ONE WHO CANT CATCH A FISH! This is well-crafted and captures the essence around the lake. The title is unique and an eye-catcher! Gwendolen

Aw, Bob, the boy probably is trying to catch dinner for his family. Still, I enjoyed the humor so much. Maybe the lad will toss one of the fish your way! :) Great entry for John's contest! Sending winning wishes to you. Love, Carolyn
