Naivety

I called him today… The guy I like but cannot have. We spoke for three minutes… The guy I want, but cannot have. He said nothing much That made any sense. Does any guy?! He wants to hang up! The guy I called, but cannot have. She was there… The girl he loves, and go home too at nights. Maybe we’ll meet tomorrow… he said. We’ll have lunch! The guy I sleep with and cannot have. Maybe I whisper. Maybe I’ll get a guy to love and who comes home at night I may be her one day. Cooking and cleaning for the guy I love and who comes home at night. He’ll hold me and cradle me at nights, kiss me, just for the sake of kissing. Bring home dinner, so I won’t have to hassle to prepare any. Forget everyone and everything. And have only me in mind. Maybe… Maybe one day, I’ll be that naïve.
