Mysterious Nephilim

It is written, in ancient scrolls of mankind's beginnings so very long ago and the strange beginnings that surround these times. Times where the sons of God entered into the daughters of men, surmised to be fallen angels from heaven. This union brought forth Nephilim, great giants the mighty men of old warriors, fierce fighters, all. Men of bloodshed and war. These powerful super humans like mythical Greek gods were savage, instinctual, incredible a glorious race were they. Yet God chose not to use their god-like powers but instead, a mere mortal a humble man named Noah. Yes, it was he who would fulfill God's great plan. For wicked man had corrupted the land the Nephilim included. Over the course of one hundred years the ark was built with Noah's hard work and sweat. He preached and tried to warn the people to turn back to God, to repent! Except for eight righteous people and some animals all perished, for the Great Flood wiped out the earth of all the living. From that time on the ancient legacy of the Nephilim, those mighty men of old is shrouded in mystery cloaked in a hidden portal of man's history. Written on 9/25/2015

You had me with "Nephilim" as I did not know what the word meant, I love when a poem is not only beautiful, but it opens a window to learning new things. I will certainly read more, but if you ever wished to explain more to me, love that too! :)
