My Wish List
At night, this is when I start dreaming,
dreaming of things hardly likely to exist.
I think of a world different from ours,
I'll give my dream world breath-taking powers:
All people will live a life of ease,
we won't know the meaning of the word disease,
there will be no darkness in people's minds
and bad thoughts will be left behind;
Can't help longing for unceasing youth,
cause I'm afraid of the death-this is the truth;
If no one of us ever gets old
we'll never lose the ones we love
and we'll always have their hands to hold.
I wonder if my fantasy can become real,
only then my heart will heal-
heal from the fear of this imperfect life.
Maybe if I pray harder for my wish
God will do everything right.
Until then I'll keep dreaming every night.
